Batman's Solo Adventures

- Dr. Kirk Langstrom invents gene-splicing. He accidentally becomes a creature dubbed by Batman as "Man-Bat". Batman is able to cure Man-Bat, and the police begin to suspect that this "Batman" may be a good guy after all. (BTAS: On Leather Wings)
- December 25: The Joker escapes from Arkham and takes Detective Bullock, news reporter Summer Gleeson, and Police Commissioner James Gordon hostage. With help from Robin, Batman is able to rescue them from the Joker and stop his faux television program. (BTAS: Christmas With the Joker)
- Dr. Jonathan Crane develops a fear gas that he decides to use on those who have pestered him. He dubs himself the "Scarecrow", and during a fight with Batman, he is accidentally hit with his gas. (BTAS: Nothing to Fear)
- April 1: The Joker, once again escaped from Arkham, uses a garbage hauler to distribute his freshly made "smile toxin" to the populace of Gotham. He also has used a robot, dubbed Captain Clown. After discovering that Alfred was hit with the toxin, Batman is able to take down the Joker and "Captain Clown", and send him into custody.
- Young environmentalist Pamela Isley has developed a way to keep herself immune from toxins. She uses her new found toxicity to seduce District Attorney Harvey Dent. She poisons Dent, because years before he built a prison that caused a rare plant to go extinct. After discovering her greenhouse and Isley's plans, Batman is able to take "Poison Ivy" down. She is placed into Arkham Asylum, and Dent is cured. (BTAS: Pretty Poison)
- Batman discovers a group of young orphan pickpockets that live in the sewers. After a fight with the Sewer King, Batman is able to bring these children to the real world. (BTAS: The Underdwellers)
- Detective Bullock, with the help of Officer Wilkes and Officer Montoya take down a group of diamond thieves. Batman is also purported to have been there. (BTAS: POV)
- Summer: Batman, while undercover, is struck in the head from a thug. He wakes up in a work camp run by Boss Biggis, and discovers that he has amnesia. Having no idea of his identity, he slowly toils away at the camp, trying to escape and discover his identity. He is eventually saved by his butler Alfred, and is cured of his amnesia. (BTAS: The Forgotten)
- The Joker, having escaped from imprisonment, is living alone in an abandoned carnival. He infiltrates the mayor's son's birthday party as a clown. Bruce Wayne is also at the party and discovers that the cake that Joker brought is actually a bomb. After tossing the bomb into the mayor's pool, Wayne discovers that both the Joker and the mayor's son Jordan are missing. Jordan has snuck onto the Joker's van, thinking he was Jekko the Clown. After a fight in the carnival, Batman saves Jordan, and locks up the Joker. (BTAS: Be A Clown)
