Belle Reve Correctional was an American prison.

History Edit

Amanda Waller used inmates from Belle Reve for her Task Force X. She sent Rick Flagg to offer Deadshot a position in the group. Faced with death otherwise, Deadshot complied.

After the Watchtower's Binary Fusion Generator was taken over and fired, the founding members of the Justice League (save Batman) turned themselves in at Belle Reve.

Background information Edit

In the comics, Belle Reve (French for "Good Dream") is a metahuman prison in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. Waller recruits her Suicide Squad members there.

In the DCAU, the location of Belle Reve is never revealed. Louisiana does not use the gas chamber as a means of execution, though this discrepancy can be ascribed to a Californian writer (similar to Superman: The Animated Series, "The Late Mr. Kent").
