Candide's new producer, Bernie Rast, accompanied her on a signing event at Spire Records. Waiting in line for an autograph were Virgil Hawkins, Richey Foley and Daisy Watkins. When they came to the front of the line and discovered Bernie Rast was involved, they suggested to Candide that she'd find another producer. Questioning Bernie about his reputation, he replied that at least he wasn't a total sleaze. Before Candide could get further into it, Hotstreak and Aquamaria held up the record store. Now questioning Bernie over what they were, she fired Rast and vowed never to return to Dakota.
