Cosmic Boy was a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th Century. He possessed formidable magnetic powers. In 2979, Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, and Chameleon Boy travelled back in time to 20th Century Smallville to prevent Brainiac from murdering a young Clark Kent.
Years later, Cosmic Boy and the rest of the Legion of Super-Heroes were aided by Supergirl, Green Lantern, and Green Arrow in defeating their arch enemies, the Fatal Five.
