Credit

Credits were the currency in the future, apparently replacing paper money. Transactions occurred by means of plastic cards, which were swiped just like modern day credit cards. Despite this, it seemed that these cards were themselves traded and replaced regularly. Kobra once intended to poison the entire population of Gotham by sabotaging the production of these credits, and the Kobra leader claimed that they would be passed from person to person. The scheme was foiled by Batman with help from the Stalker.[1]
Zeta is also equipped with a built-in credit card that can generate an unlimited amount of currency, enabling him to move about unfeathered.
In the Hub, if a credit has no value, then the user is deemed vagrant and up to trouble.
