Special Agent King Faraday was an agent of an undisclosed branch of the United States government.

Faraday was once assigned to protect and extract information from Steven Mandragora. When Lex Luthor escaped prison, he became the liaison between the U.S. government and the Justice League. He did other jobs as well: at a global warming conference in Norway, he was assigned to the Vice President's security detail. However, during the meeting, several members of the Legion of Doom attacked, in search of the Viking Prince's corpse. Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, and J'onn J'onzz helped Faraday fight off the villains.
