The following is a list of times in which the phrase "My God!" and other variations has been spoken in the DCAU. During the production of Batman: The Animated Series, such references were very rare in an animated series, since censorship rules generally forbade references to religion, especially when used as a curse. As time went on, it became more commonplace to use the phrase.

Edit
- In Batman: The Animated Series,
"The Lion and the Unicorn", Red Claw mockingly states "God save the Queen". - In Superman: The Animated Series,
"Tools of the Trade", Bruno Mannheim asks "Where in God's name are we?" as he ventures in Apokolips. - In Superman: The Animated Series,
"Warrior Queen", when Sazu warns Maxima that her counselors are waiting, Maxima retorts "Let them wait. God knows I have". Also, later on, Angela Chen sends a "Thank you!" heavenward, after her "prayer" for a new story about Superman is answered. - In Justice League,
"Maid of Honor, Part II", the Kaznian Minister uses the phrase "in the fear of God" while performing the wedding of Vandal Savage and Princess Audrey. - In the most overtly religious episode of the DCAU, Static Shock's "Frozen Out", Static eventually turns to the sky itself to lament his busy schedule, asking if He "ever had one of those days". Apart from identifying Static as a Christian, it also identifies Frieda as Jewish (like in the comics) and Omar as Muslim.
- In Justice League Unlimited,
"The Greatest Story Never Told", Dr. Tracy Simmons says, "Oh, my-" upon seeing her colleague Daniel Brown transformed into a "living black hole", before she is cut off by Booster Gold. - In Justice League Unlimited,
"The Balance", Shayera Hol warns a group of really stupid demons that she is an angel, and they don't want to mess with her "Boss". - In the Justice League Unlimited episode "Epilogue", both Terry McGinnis and Amanda Waller reference "the Lord" in spontaneous dialog.
- Although references to religion are usually barred, Harley Quinn makes a couple of exclamations in Yiddish, a subtle indication that she is Jewish (this was made explicit in the comic book on which the The New Batman Adventures episode "Holiday Knights" was based).
- Dan Turpin of the Metropolis SCU is clearly Jewish, as he also exclaims in Yiddish and his funeral ceremony in Superman: The Animated Series,
"Apokolips... Now!, Part II" is performed by a rabbi.
