Dr. Achilles Milo was an unscrupulous Gotham scientist who eventually joined Cadmus.

A scientist from Gotham City who specialized in biological tampering of animal subjects. He had long been engaging in these illegal practices when he raised the ire of Catwoman, whose cat Isis had been captured. At the time, he was working for crime lord Roland Daggett to infect stray animals with a special virus. This drew the attention of Batman, who shut the operation down and dealt with Milo and his experiments.

Soon after, Milo was involved with Splicing as a form of steroids. Noted Olympic Champion, Anthony Romulus, hired Milo to find a way to increase his own performance. However, the enhancement consequently caused Anthony to warp into an uncontrollable werewolf creature that had to be stopped, again, by Batman. Following this, Milo was sent to jail, despite insisting that they had nothing on him.

Years later, he was brought onto the Cadmus Project due to his experience with splicing. However, despite access to various notes on Splicing and his own experience, he was not able to produce a successful, controllable subject. After many failures, he was fired by Amanda Waller and reassigned to a less important position. Enraged by this (he even fantasized shooting down his colleagues), he decided to have his revenge by freeing Doomsday, who had recovered full brain activity by this point. After sharing his troubles with Doomsday (as well as the monster's own history), he struck a bargain that Doomsday would get revenge on Cadmus for the wrongs they had committed. However, as it turned out, Doomsday's method of fixing Milo's problems was to kill him. His death was reported to Waller, who was shocked to learn that Doomsday had killed him.
