The depicted subject bears the likeness of Obsidian from the DC Comics; however, the DCAU character was never named on-screen, or otherwise. The title of this article is conjecture based on the character's likeness.
In the comics, Obsidian is traditionally depicted as the son of the original Green Lantern Alan Scott, twin brother to superheroine Jade, the possessor of "shadow" powers and is a gay male.
The action figure of this character, released by Mattel in the Justice League Unlimited line has confirmed that this is indeed Obsidian.
