The Revamp of the DC Animated Universe — sometimes referred to as the "New Look" — was the streamlining of the style of animation present within the cartoons belonging to said universe.
[edit] History
When production of Superman: The Animated Series ended and the focus of the animators at Warner Bros. Animation was to return to the exploits of the character Batman, the animators knew that they would have to redo the art style of Batman: The Animated Series to match the cleaner, crisper style of Superman: TAS. The result was The New Batman Adventures, and the revamp was a success.
After the revamp, every resulting show to come after it retained this crisp style, and it became the trademark for the DCAU.
