A lead scientist employed at the Riverbluffs Research Laboratory near the outskirts of Central City, Dr. Sarah Corwin started an Internet romance with Gorilla Grodd. When Grodd escaped Gorilla City, he hid at Corwin's laboratory disguising himself as just another test animal. In secret, they constructed a machine that generated an energy field similar to the one that keeps Gorilla City hidden from human eyes in Africa. When Grodd was defeated by the Flash, Corwin was presumably incarcerated for her part as an accomplice.
