[edit] Background Information

This character's name was never directly mentioned within the DCAU. The character, however, bears somewhat of a likeness to the Starman character featured in DC Comics. If one would venture a guess assuming that these two are one and the same, then the following information would be true:

Starman is the name of several superheroes. Most notably the Knight family, beginning with Ted Knight (the original), his son, Jack, and (for a short time) Jack's older brother, David. The DCAU Starman appears to be a later version of the character also known as Price Gavyn of Throneworld, who seemingly perished during the Crisis on Infinite Earths only to instead be converted into energy that merged with Will Payton of earth. Payton would later discover the truth behind his powers and seemingly, although unmaliciously, surrender dominance of his body to Gavyn.
