Why was this article flagged? Is there any more to say about this character? --BoneGnawer 05:12, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

You're right. Apart from some more detail, that's all there's to say about this character. ― Thailog 09:54, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Canon

I haven't had a chance to see "The Call" yet, but if any of this stuff is canon, I assume it would be in there. So the question... is it? The contents of this entry strike me as odd. --Gamehiker 03:08, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

This part is canon:
Arthur Junior (Jr.) is the son of King Arthur and Queen Mera of Atlantis.
Arthur is in direct line of succession when he comes of age. Arthur Jr. became the focal point in Arthur's life causing him to make sacrifices to protect his kingdom; going to the surface world and arguing his nation's safety at the World Assembly and severing his own hand to save himself and Arthur Jr. when Orm's treachery was revealed.
I don't know about the rest, been a while since I've seen The Call. The name Arthur Jr. is pure conjecture. Aqualad's name in the comics was Garth. In "The Enemy Below" the baby was only referred to with pronouns, "my son", "our son", etc. --BoneGnawer 03:21, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
I've been tirelessly reading Wikipedia (stupid addictions). It seems that Arthur, Jr. is a canon name insofar as that is what is used in the comics. It may not be used in the show, but as far as the comics character goes, that is what Aquaman's son is named. Aqualad in general is Aquaman's sidekick... not related to him.

Apparently in The Call, under Aquagirl's JLU entry, it states that Aquaman is still missing. I suppose it could be supposed that Arthur Jr. would take over as Aquaman (assuming Atlanteans age normally) since by then, the original Aquaman would be in about the same sort of shape Bruce Wayne is in. But it's more or less conjecture.--Gamehiker 03:27, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
