Just wondering, this has been bugging me for a while: When exactly do all these years and dates come from? I don't remember any of the shows being big on giving concrete dates for their events. - Caswin 21:43, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Hm... by the sound of that, it sounds as if we want to avoid being too conjectural regarding dates. However - unless I'm missing something, and to be sure, it wouldn't be the first time - most of the individual dates seem to be as conjectural as the one date I can find specifically noted as such, when Starro attacked Superman. In The Future especially, how do we know all those individual years following the Near-Apocalypse of '09? To a lesser degree, unless we're going by when the episodes aired, what about all the events of the Silver Age? Is it based on airdates? I'm looking, but the discussion doesn't seem to address that, beyond a reference to Bruce Timm specifically not operating that way... - Caswin 01:19, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
I think that every date — besides a handful from Batman: The Animated Series — are conjectural. I'm not a big proponent of these pages. The creative team didn't go into specifics regarding dates and timelines for a reason. I don't think it's our place to guess them. ― Thailog 14:39, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
