I made the speaker parameter optional, because upon reading quotes uttered by a character on their own article, it looked unnecessary to include its name... If a quote has no signature, then it seems obvious to me that it was the article's character who said it. Let me know if you disagree. ― Thailog 23:00, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

I think it is obvious to those of us who are well acquainted with the DCAU, however it might not be so obvious to the casual fan. --BoneGnawer 17:43, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes, but even some casual fan who goes to the Wonder Woman article and sees an unsigned quote in the first person, he's naturally conclude it was her who said it... ― Thailog 17:51, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
